Oransi Finn Described

Both units incorporate many of the same elements and beneficial design features into both units. The main difference between the two is primarily coverage area each will service. Additionally the Finn Model includes a UV light that kills viruses. The Max Model does not include a UV light. The Max Model includes an activated carbon filter that removes volatile organic compounds (VOC's), light odors and gases. The Finn Model does not include an activated carbon filter.
The Oransi v-hepa MAX Air Purifier is designed in a sleek portable tower, which effectively filters out 99% of airborne allergens from areas up to 600 square feet or an approximately 20-foot x 30-foot room.
This system is great for small- to medium-sized bedrooms and offices up to 600 sq ft. The stylish air purifier features four-stage HEPA filtration, Activated Carbon Filter, and a built-in ionizer to remove common airborne allergens and other irritants including but not limited to:

v-Hepa MAX Advanced Filtering Process
v-Lock and v-Seal (v-Hepa) DescribedThe Oransi Finn Air Purifier is equipped with Oransi's proprietary v-lock and v-seal technology. This consists of a specialized seal surrounding the air filter that locks the filter cover in place, so that no air can bypass the filter. Moreover, insulated v-seals around the edges of the main HEPA air filter further prevent air leakage around the filters. As a result, you can rest assured that all of the air entering the Finn air cleaner is filtered and cleaned before being released into your space.
Eco-Friendly Design, Certified Safe Operation
Oransi air purifiers incorporate many green features into its design. Most notably, the v-hepa Finn is Energy Star-qualified for efficient operation. Energy Star air purifiers operate on average 40% more efficiently than conventional non-Energy Star models, which can save you up to $35 annually on energy bills.
Along with an Energy Star seal, the Oransi v-hepa Finn meets the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) lead-free directive. This policy restricts the use of certain hazardous and poisonous substances during manufacturing. This HEPA air purifier also meets a number of safety certifications, including ETL, GS and CE, and is constructed with fire-resistant ABS plastic.
Air Quality Monitor
Intelligent Air Quality Monitor gives you a visual indication of the air quality in your room from the front of the air purifier. If operated in auto mode the air quality monitor will adjust the fan speed depending upon the air quality reading. When first started the sensor may flash a "Gas" symbol for the first ten minutes. This is to indicate that the sensor is warming up and calibrating.
Troubleshooting - If the air purifier does not power on, remove the front cover and the filters and re-insert each. We have a safety switch that ensures that the cover is completely closed and in shipment the cover may open slightly. Also, the display will flash "Gas" for the first 10 minutes while the air quality sensor is warming up and then will stay on once ready. Finally, if you press the Auto button, the fan speed display will reflect the air quality reading and not the current operating fan speed so there can be a difference. We suggest setting the fan speed where you would like it and then press Auto. If the sensor shows 0 or 1 bars the fan speed will show as Silent, 2 bars is Middle, 3 bars is Strong and 4 bars is Turbo.
Additional Features

Note : Unlike the Oransi Finn unit, the Max model's pre-filter is not carbon coated because the Max unit has it's own separate carbon filter. Therefore, the carbon coating is not necessary. The Finn unit does not have it's own separate carbon filter, therefore, the Finn model incorporates a carbon coated pre-filter.
